Hiking fans will be delighted by the well-marked hiking pathway.
Fans of cycling , who enjoy the hilly ups and downs of the medium range mountain landscape should be aware that the long cycling route of "Bayreuth-Zittau" goes through Stolpen.
There is also a local circular route around Stolpen, approx. 23 km long, which runs through the surrounding districts of Lauterbach, Langenwolmsdorf, Altstadt and Rennersdorf-Neudörfel, with diagrams, shelters and rest areas along the way.



The municipal open-air swimming pool with tennis courts on the Bahnhofstraße invites guests to pay us a visit in the swimming season from May to September.
An active society life of the 42 registered societies in our town and the surrounding districts, as well as annual events such as markets, village fire brigade and castle festivals and the Classic Car Rally, which has already become a tradition in the summer, enrich the cultural life in our town.
